Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what GreenEco Development collects, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, ask us — we would rather explain than hide behind fine print.

What we collect

  • Account information you give us — your name, email address, company, and role — when you sign up or contact our team.
  • Project data you create on the platform, including drawings, schedules, models, documents, and any files you upload.
  • Usage data our systems record automatically, such as the pages you visit, the tools you run, your device and browser type, and your IP address.
  • Payment details, which are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

  • To run the platform — to store your projects, generate your deliverables, and keep your workspace available.
  • To support you — to answer your questions and respond to requests you send us.
  • To improve the product — to understand which tools are used and where the experience can be better.
  • To keep things secure — to detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect your account.
  • To communicate with you — to send you service updates and, where you have opted in, product news. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Data retention

  • We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active.
  • If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required to keep it longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
  • You can export your project data at any time — everything you build on GreenEco Development is yours.

Your rights

  • You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy of it.
  • You have the right to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • You have the right to delete your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • You have the right to object to, or restrict, how we process your data, and the right to data portability.
  • If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of its sale — we do not sell your personal information.
  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

  • We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. The platform cannot function without these.
  • We use a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. These help us improve the experience and are never used to track you across other websites.
  • You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may stop working if you do.

Service providers and sub-processors

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting, where your account and project data are stored.
  • Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
  • OpenRouter — routes platform analysis requests to the underlying model providers; project inputs you submit to a tool are processed here.
  • Stripe — payment processing; card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional and, where you opt in, product emails.
  • Mapbox — maps, geocoding, and terrain used in site tools.
  • PostHog — optional product analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Upstash — optional rate-limiting infrastructure that protects the platform from abuse.
  • Sentry / GlitchTip — optional error monitoring used to diagnose faults.
  • Public reference data (OpenStreetMap, EU PVGIS, buildingSMART bSDD) is retrieved through our servers to add context to site and material tools; your personal data is never sent to these sources.

How we protect your data

  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the systems and people who need it to operate the platform.
  • Each organization's data is isolated so that customers can never see one another's projects.
  • We work with trusted infrastructure and processing partners who are contractually bound to protect your data to the same standard we do.

Contact us about privacy

  • For any privacy request — access, correction, deletion, or a general question — reach us through the contact form on this site. Please include enough detail for us to locate your account.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
